Patents

• U.S. Patent No. 7,662,169; Prosthesis and method for lowering abdominal pressure.
• U.S. Patent No. 7,658,749; Method for creating a temporary hypobaric wound space in an intentionally left open surgical wound to diagnose substrate losses and prevent exogenous contamination with microorganisms.

Any company manufacturing or marketing the Artificial Bur Closure Device invented by Dr. Wittmann other than NovoMedicus and its licensees is in violation of the patents and trademarks as listed above.
